I can't take it anymore...I bought my K-9 Tuesday, and I"m installing new pipes and breathers, but I can't wait any more. Would it be wrong for me to call the dealer to see how she's doing? I can't stop thinking about her. :willy_nilly:

My dealer installed my pipes, breather, and 2 up seat & sissy bar on the Saturday I bought it.
They should have had that done a long time ago

One of the techs probably took it home for few days after the mods to ride around & show off to all his buddies.

SUCKS! Just got off the phone with the dealer, and he said Tuesday is a more likely scenario...and the waiting game begins. :willy_nilly:

so that means they havent touched it yet because you are the customer that only called them once ,so you are on the bottom of the list of bikes that takes all of 2-3 hours to fix and they will fit you in when you become the yeller on the phone,go get it and the parts and figure out how to do the work yourself.....aint no time like today

I won't be able to drop in today, but they will get an ear full tomorrow....to be quite honest with you, I wasn't happy with them even when I bought the bike, but they're the only BDM in my state...how sad is that?

Go Saturday and get it. Pipes are about an hour to do - tops.
Ask them if they installed the jet kit for the V&H also.. I think it should be
.076 and stock is .072.

Unless they are waiting for the check to clear
:)

Dropped mine off Saturday in Little Rock AR (2 hours away) for 5000 mile service and the recall stuff. Called today and they said there still waiting on parts:job: . Weathers been in the 60's since the day I dropped it off. I feel ya man  :bang:

For new pipes and a breather and assume rejetting. At tops 2-3 hours for a novice mechanic. What's the name of the dealership?

I don't want to ever go there. Sounds like one of the dealers down here. They get your money and then don't care about you anymore. But seeing that you're in New Jersey, the weather probably sucks anyway, but you can sit on it in the garage and go "vrroooom vvrrrrooooooom!"

I know what you mean!:bang: The dealer closest to me is about 45 miles and they are the same way:rant: the next closest one is 2 hours. I usually call and see if my stuff comes in and when it does I take it over on a Saturday for them to fix while I sit their! Hate sitting over their all day but I'm NOT leaving the bike over their for a few days for a 2 hour job!!
