I don't know but mine does not have a dipstick either so that must be for 08 and up , I know for sure pit and ridgeback don't have dipsticks at least 2006/07 dont

I think that there's obviously some discrepancy with the different years going on here, all I know is I check mine with the bike upright and level, and if it is in the cross hatched area of the dipstick then I am gonna call it good.

You can atone for your blatant indiscretion in not following the clear instructions presented in the official factory manual, by replacing the filler cap, and removing it 10 times correctly. Some poor soul had to sit in some tiny office and type those instructions, for some minor pittance ( and no appreciation from his or her manager) just so you could totally ignore them. Have you no shame?
