Fook, just fill it up till it hits the top of the oil fill and run it hard for a hundred miles. The excess oil will come out of every orifice and when it stops you are at the right level... simple...

So it'd be within an inch to an inch and a half from the filler neck, that should be about right I guess

On mine there are marks on the dips tick that ate about 3 inches down or so.. so idk

Well dat's weird, I swear my manual says check it with the bike upright, i will check it when i go out to the garage, also when it's leaning on the kickstand it reads that it's overfull, so I am sticking with the vertical position! Do you even have a dipstick?
