Just finished installing a set of Eddie Trotta C4 pipes on my '07 K9. No baffles so I was concerned about jetting. I was running a set of Mean Mother's using .031 intermediate jet and .78 main jet. Ran great but a bit mild for looks and sound. I stuck with the .031 intermediate but bumped the main to .080 and it runs perfect. Plugs look clean also. FYI for anyone searching through the jetting threads for specific advice on jet sizing.

lambo_ it turned dark before i cld get manual out to see . knew there had to have been an adjustment just went to a 32...........wait 31...................inter jet. just now learning which screw does what................gotta look at pics to see.............use to auto carbs not bike carbs but its all the same. just a diff location. think i saw it in the book.......i hope . leaving for thunder beach friday so need to get it right.

I been running a Makuni for last few years and been some time since i did a SS. Usually clockwise. You want the squirt of fuel to begin sooner. Start the bike turn it quarter of turn to right, blip the throttle and see what it does - cant hurt anything at all while your doing it. If better, turn more, if worst, repeat in opposite direction. Keep the bike idling the whole time.
