Your welcome somehow doesn't seem to cover it. Jason your a tremendous credit to BDM. I can only hope that Sheldon himself takes the time to read this forum every now and then. If he doesn't he is missing out on some very valuable end user information about his product. As well as the credit that should be given to those in his company that actually care about his customers and the quality of his product. You and all the guys at BDM that take the time to show us the customers that your intrested in our issues and concerns is what will keep BDM alive and afloat for years to come. That is also what seperates BDM from it's competitors. As has been seen here on this fourm, many BDM dealers don't show the concern about our motorcycles like you and Brad and Scott and so many others that work directly for Sheldon. We appreciate you Jason as well as your fellow co-workers. Enough said ! :2thumbs:

Wow, thanks guys. I just love doing what I do. Guess I am one of the lucky people in this world that get to wake up in the morning and not go to a job but go do something that they love to do. It's been my pleasure to get to meet all of you when I am on the road and I am glad I can help in anyway that I can. Once again thanks.
Jason

Ohmster, I won't tell that I had my bike towed from work to the dealer cause I couldn't get it to start......... It ran out of gas and I didn't think to put it on reserve!:loony: :loony: :loony:

You shouldn't be surprised by the thanks you're getting on here Jason. Big Dog should be proud to have you. While I expected you to fix the problem I had, I wasn't expecting you to go above and beyond what was necessary. I remember that a storm was coming and you offered for me to keep my bike under your tent if I wanted. You took the time to show me what you were doing to my bike and provided some tips for trouble shooting. I also appreciated the fact that you thanked me for buying a BDM. I have to say you treated me so well that my buddy with me (on a HD) couldn't believe it. He has been in the market for a new chopper and you almost single handedly swayed him away from Big Bear right over to Big Dog.
I'd like to give a Big thank you to Jason as well..
He helped me thru the electrical problem with my bike and it's been great ever since... and as stated above i also have a friend that has been so impressed with BDM and the support i have received from them and Jason. And also this forum that he sold his rice rocket and bought a PitBull.. :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

Kansas Motorcycle Works
Well since I am on my lunch hour and on my own time I'll spill it. I was in the South East to work on a couple of bikes and also do some meet and greet at a couple of dealerships as well. I was in Charleston, SC at a dealer and doing my thing when the owner of the dealership ask if I want to grab a couple of bikes after work and go grab a burger. So I say "Hell Ya!" and he points across the dealer floor and tells me to pick what I want to ride that night. There off to the side was a kick a$$ bobber so I pick that one with a FULL tank of gas I might add.

After work I fire up the bobber and he takes his jeep and I follow him to his house to pick up his bike. Once we get there he ask if I want to go for a dirt bike ride since the woods are all around his house and he has a track built back there. Once again "Hell Ya!" and I get to pick either the dirt bike or the 4-wheeler. I choose the wheeler so he goes to start the dirt bike and nothing. He remmebered that he stole the battery out of it for his bike he rides. I say "no big deal lets go grab a bite to eat then". Nope, he decides that I can take the wheeler and grabs the bobber I am riding. Off we go on the track and I have to say I was pretty impressed to see him take this bobber on this dirt track with jumps and hair pin turns and he is carving up the track.

After about 15 minutes of that we go back to grab his bike (52 pan rat bike btw) and we meet up with two of his friends and take off for the bay area. We end up after a 25 mile ride or so at this burger joint and grab a bite. As we are leaving the bobber hickup's once on me which made me think....hmmm. Well the 4 of us are carving it up heading just up the Cooper River bridge. Anyone ever see the Cooper River bridge? That is one big a$$ bridge. As we are going up, the bobber starts cutting out so I reach for the petcock valve and I cant find it. I coast to the side, still going up the bridge and after coming to a stop I find the reserve valve. A quick switch over and wick the throttle twice, hit the slam start and away I go.... for about 1/4 of a mile till the reserve ran out. So, sitting on the top of the Cooper River bridge I grab the phone and realize I don't have anyone's numbers here in Charleston. I call back to Wichita to one of our salesmen, Matt. Give him the story, he makes a call, 2 minutes later I have Showdog, who is in Michigan calling me laughing at me for being stuck on top of the bridge. After 1 hour of playing phone tag help finally showed up. Moral of the story is with a 2 gallon tank it's not a good idea to take a bobber and carve up a motorcross track for 15 minutes and then think your going to make a 50 mile round trip without stopping for fuel. Also on a 2 gallon tank don't trust the reserve, but a 1/4 of a mile - are you f'ing kidding me????

Hey, I got to have something to hang sh!t on him about. I've watched him leave a whole groups of mechanics speachless when he fixed something in under 30 seconds that they had been working on for 3 hours and were getting ready to have a complete motor overnighted out of Wichita.

Jason, now you know why I wish my Chopper had at least a 4.5 gal tank !! My reserve ain't too long lasting itself BUT a 1/4 mile? Now that is ridiculous!!
Sounded like fun tearing up the moto track though. Thanks for shining a little light on the bridge story though :)

 And hears to Bigdog the company who thinks enough of us after the sale to bring such hicalber caring guys to work out our problems ..... I'm spoiled now though ....I'm still having clutch problems and I don't want anyone else to screw with it ? I'm tearing back into it this weekend ..I only wish that BD would "on a case by case basis" let some of the owners do warranty work ..I'm not looking for labor just parts ..I KNOW something broke ..its the old style clutch on a 07 chopper? well documented many times that these broke ...stay tuned for photos ?? This clutch has given me greef from day one and been adjusted by the BEST and still drags and slipps after fully warmed up ..no mater what you do ...it now is making a ringing sound like "ding ding ding" at times . stay tuned .
