Andrew has a damn fine lady waiting for him and he will do all he can to be with you once again.
Will they let you into his room at all?

If there is anything else we can do to help, please do not hesitate to bring it to our attention.

Ahhhhh....... Thank you KnotSo.
Yes I can go into Andrews ICU area and see him during certain hours. I talk to him, sing to him, read, and give him football scores. I don't know if he hears me, but that's like normal, me talking and him not listening.

about 10 years ago, one of the people i call a close friend was in an auto accident, t-boned at driver's door, and was put into an induced coma for more than 3 weeks. i went to see him several times but it was always like his body was there but he wasn't. when he was allowed to come out of the coma, he talked about the man with the beard that he kept seeing standing over him and then he saw me, with the first beard i had ever grown.
he's pretty much alright now but gets emotional very easily at almost anytime and apparently there was some nerve damage to his tongue because he has almost lost his sense of taste. can you imagine going through life and never tasting a ripe strawberry again?
anyway, keep doing what you're doing Cindy and we will keep doing what we are doing and everything will end up like it is supposed to.

Cindy, This is my first post for you and Andy. I want you to know I have been praying for you and Andy every since the news of the accident sometimes twice a day. I believe in Prayer and the power it possesses. Rest assured I will keep praying about 5:30 every morning and 10:30 every evening for both of you.

Prayer certainly will change things, and as we all can see bring people together. Andy and Cindy are certainly being prayed for from all over this nation and even beyond.

I was wondering if I may ask? Have you seen any differences, improvements possibly, in Andy's vital signs , blood pressures, heartbeat, etc., in the last few days?

Still Praying also,
Ray

Have I seen any improvement?
No there has been none.
Any improvement, like a lower fever or raise in blood pressure, last only briefly.

It's something though, and he's still fighting! From the sound of his injuries he's going to need some time to heal. Still praying for both of you!!

Yesterday, I finally accomplished something I have been planning for several years. We go to Cades Cove a lot and I have for several years wanted to go to the top of one of those mountains read my Bible and pray. I made it yesterday afternoon. by myself, even though my wife got within a half a mile, it started getting pretty steep, almost straight up for the last part of the climb. The closer I got to the top the more I wanted to get there, I bet Andy is a fighter like that too. I had my Bible and camera in my backpack, but when I got to the top, even though I was kind of pooped, well, It was certainly worth the climb. The veiw was great from the top. There were signs that the animal population came up here also, maybe to get away too. I found a log close to where a deer had been bedded down, still kinda fresh, and It was there I sat and read my Bible, one of the daily reading. Then in the same place I got on my kness and prayed. Along with a lot of other people, family, and friends, Andy and Cindy were also prayed for by that log on the top of the mountain. I had planned this long before Andy's accident, but used the opportunity while I was there to ask God to help Andy and Cindy through this very difficult time in both their lives.

May the God of heaven, The Lord of Heaven's Armys , bring comfort, peace and healing to Andy and Cindy through this very difficult situation they are dealing with ,

In Jesus's name I ask, and thank Him for hearing me when I pray,
A-men.

I am in the ICU waiting room. There is no change in Andys condition. I am meeting with his Trauma Team tomorrow to see what they should do next. I ask his Dr. If he was still at risk of dying and he said "oh yes":(
