It's Been 2 Weeks....

K-9 Bitch

aka K-9 Sweetie
It's been 2 weeks today since Andy's motorcylce accident. I still don't have any good news about his recovery. He is still critical from head trauma and heart and lung problems. The K-9 fell on his chest and collapsed his lungs. He is still on a ventilator with 100% oxygen. He can't not breath on his own.
But each day he keeps fighting! And he has a team of the most incredible Doctors and Nurses that deserve a special Thank You!

The bike is at Strokers and I want to Thank Lena, Amy, and Rick for taking care of the bike for me. They are super people!

And of course, a thank you to all our friends on the forum that have been praying and sending well wishes for Andy's recovery. I enjoy reading the forum while sitting in the waiting room :)

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Be thankful for your loved ones and of course, your BIG DOG!
Ride safe my friends!

I know two weeks seems like two months, but Andy is still alive !! The machine is breathing for him where his lungs are not stressing as they start to heal themselves. The 100% oxygen is just a good thing in it's self for the entire healing process. I actually read somewhere that oxygen is like a medicine in itself. As you stated the Medical team are incredible. There are possibly hundreds of people praying for you both everyday, everyday, everyday!! It is written in scripture, "The prayers of the righteous available much". It was said earlier that Andy is in God's hands and there is no better place to be( I 100% agree), even though it makes us feel helpless, things don't move as fast as we want things too and you just want to scream.

Many years ago I was in accident, head trauma and a few other bones broken. Three and a half weeks in a full coma. Recovery was slow but recovered .

Keep the faith,

Ray

Footprints

One night I had a dream--
I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord
and across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints,
one belonged to me and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of my life flashed before me,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that many times along the path of my life,
there was only one set of footprints.
I also noticed that it happened at the very lowest
and saddest times in my life.
This really bothered me and I questioned the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you would walk with me all the way,
but I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life
there is only one set of footprints.
"I don't understand why in times when I needed you most,
you should leave me."
The Lord replied, "My precious, precious child,
I love you and I would never, never leave you
during your times of trial and suffering.
"When you saw only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."

Thanks for the update, wish it was better new but really glad it's not worse. Sounds like one hell of a fighter, still praying.

I hope you are doing well Cindy, despite the circumstances.
