Intermittent fault on tachometer display 2004 Big Dog Chopper

Hi guys from sunny South Africa. I need some advice or assistance please. I replaced my EHC with the wire plus system some time ago and the only issue I had was a starter relay issue which was resolved by a local auto electrician. Of late my tachometer display is intermittent. It indicates then doesn't. Where do I start looking for the problem. I have checked cables and wiring and fiddle but issue remains. Please help.

OPen up the speedo housing and look at the annunicator baord.
THe older boards had a tendency to corrode or end up with severed connections at the board.

Cheers bro. Visited site recommended as well, great link. Will give it a bash and see what happens. If I manage to f#%k something up. Ordered a whole new speedo, hopefully comes in white!!!
