Yes. But it is a one shot deal. Make sure you just put the mileage and don't add tenths on to it because the DD doesn't read out 1/10ths.

It only took me 30 minutes to install also, then set the odometer, and when I check the speedometer with GPS, the speed was right on. So, you might not have to calibrate the speedometer. :D

Installing new speedometer

Does anyone have a video of the speedometer change out? Especially for a 2004 BDM. I want the digital look but cant really tell if its a simple swap and what after market ones I can use?

tach on my 08 pitbull needs calibrated

I am having trouble with the calibration to my digital tachometer on my speedo. the mph is correct but the tach which runs around the rim of the speedo casing is "off".....the readings only go to 2 green bars, sometimes 3 or 4 if I wind it out some. is there a fix for this? can I download something?

please help!

Thx Ray just installed my DD on my Ridgeback which took about 15 minutes
To access the odometer change hold button down on speedo as you turn key on
Guess if I read the instructions I would have found this out sooner!!
Great product and great write up on the install Ray!

Hi all, I have a novice question, I have a 2004 Mastiff and the original speedo died due to water ingress. and the previous owner gave me another autometer which died within a 100 miles likely from the same problem. My question, is that I have a separate Tach mounted between the bars and the speedo is in the top of the tank. I keep seeing these dakota speedos online but it refers to a "tach ring" can I keep the analog tach and just replace the speedo with the dakota unit? is there a specific model difference between the speedo with the tack ring and the analog tach? thank you for the help.

There is no tach ring on speedo itself, -05 up tach is a ring around the speedo... so a speedo is a speedo, except on Ker's case. Go and have a look on Dakota net page...
