I've been waiting for this moment!! Polaris is soo smart, first with victory and now Indian. I've always liked the way Indians sound.

Limited color options is a minus to me! Harley has been coming out with some pretty cool colors.. MHO

I think Indian will be fine, they'll get more color options as things come together. Lots of cool electronics, if they remain durable I believe they're pioneering a new age of comfort and luxury while maintaining a classic look. I believe they may have hit the mark. I'm sure Indian will cut a niche in the market, can't wait to see what is to come. That bagger is badass!!

I test rode the new Indian last Saturday in Sturgis. I was impressed. Very powerful bike. Incredibly smooth clutch and tranny.
I think they will do well.

Looking forward to retirement
They had the premere here at Sturgis this week and ever since have had them for public viewing on Lazelle st. The motor is a 111. What looks odd is the close coupled primary. Where BDM and Harley have maybe 24"-28" primaries this one is like 18" looks strange! I k like the blue color with the brown leather. Very eye catching!! But with a price tag!!! I don't see one in my future. Looks good but just not that good! Wish them all the luck in the world!

I actually feel the price is very cheap. When you think about what you get. Harley has the CVO or Screaming Eagle models, but those are over $30k. This Indian, with the 111, for less than $20k. Seems very good to me. Plus the power train is more smooth than anything I've ever ridden. Again, I think they will do well. I'd do, they obviously will expand color options, accessories, models, etc.
Time will tell I guess.
