I need help on my Compression test

i Have a 2002 Bulldog with the 107 engine an i did a compression test on both front an rear cylinders an got 150 on each does anybody if thats the correct reading.

Too low. I have a BSA that makes 175 in each cylinder (cold).

There are 2 camps.
Camp 1 says: We want a hot engine so things expand to running temp and that is where the compression is read.

Camp 2 says: We want to test a cold engine. If it does not start in the morning, we want to know how low this compression is.

See where your real compression number is at a cold setting? How much ring gap do we have now? Lots. So this is in need of a refresh. I'd take a guess and say in the 180's you should be at.

Very good point and I think that the decompression releases should be disconnected as well.
If still too low, inject some oil into the cylinders through spark plug hole and check the compression again.
If that fixed the comp. it is your bottom end that need renewing and if the oil does not make much difference than it is your heads that needs reconditioning.

sorry i didn't respond faster i wound up not having the throttle wide open it wasn't the problem though compression was 178 in the rear an 180 in the front wound up being i changed the ignition to crane an didn't have it on the right setting Thank you!!
since then i ended up having a accident but almost ready for the road now with some upgrades with 2006 pitbull forward controls an rear mounted kick stand even the bigdogpartsking on eBay said they wouldn't fit i took a gamble an everything works perfect and looks great
