I don't think anyone has done this on here that I know of so I thought I would post this How-To.
I have to Spike Chrome Raptor pegs and grips. I love them and they look cool but the rubber was coming off from use. I tried to find the replacement rubber to fit them but I couldn't. So if any of you are under a budget like me and don't have the spare $600 laying around for a new set of grips and pegs, there is an inexpensive fix to re-applying rubber to your pegs. Here is what I did:
1-Purchase at least a 22 oz can of Plasti Dip (if you can get a larger can do it). You will need 4 coats of this on your pegs so the more the better. I got mine from Amazon for $14 but you can pretty much find this stuff at any hardware store.

2-Remove your pegs and grips from your bike and tape up the areas where you DO NOT want rubber applied.

3-Follow the directions on the back of the Plasti Dip and coat the surface of the peg/grip until it looks like the below picture. It is important to dip slowly to avoid any air bubbles. Repeat this process for at least 4 coats. Let the Plasti Dip dry for 30 min between each coat. **The first coat will look thick but trust me it dries a lot thinner than you think. Allow 24 hours to completely dry before continuing to step 4.

4-Take a razor knife with a NEW blade and carefully cut the edge up against the step up around the entire peg/grip. Make sure and cut all the way through to the metal. It may take a few passes to cut all the way through. **Take your time with this step. You want to make sure you cuts are straight and even. If not you will have to remove the rubber and start over.

5-Peel away the tape and excess Plasti Dip and here is what you are left with. A fresh coat of rubber gripping.
