How to on new air cleaner set up

Yeah If you could, that would be kick ass...I just wanna make sure Im right. I actually put it back together, and it seems fine but I dont wanna get caught...

The seals they are cautioning about are the green ones. Becareful with them and use a good grease when you put it back together for a smooth action.

mine was the same when I installed the BDM 2 inch extensions I just used my drimmel tool to extend the opening arround so the pin,shifter and all lined up hope this helps, did mine last year all is ok:up:

Im not sure I understand what "clocking" means when taking out this little dowel pin. I checked about 5 times. Seems to me there is NO way this pin and hole lined up...I dont know what to think.

S&S Dual air intake

Has anyone purchased the S&S dual cone air intake? I had the dealer i bought it from tune the carb when they did the 500 mile service. It continues to run rough around 3grand or 65 to 70 m.p.h then it smooths out and runs fine

Thanks Gas man. When i bought the bike i had the big radius Vance & Hines exhaust installed with the .076 mainjet and the .031 intermediate...

But you added an air cleaner for more air flow without compensating and adding in more fuel.

When you are nearing the 3k rpm you are at the upper limit of the int jet. You probably expierencing a carb cough or spit as well. Bump the int jet a notch and readjust the carb.
