Okay. Count me as a believer! At 923 miles on my new K-9, I caught a rusty wood screw in the original 300 Venom. The shop replaced it with a new Cobra and I told them "no balance please". Long story short, I removed the old weights, cleaned, polished, and reinstalled the rear wheel. Removed the valve stem, and installed the beads at about a 4 o'clock angle. A little vibration and done!
Front installation was even easier. I took it easy on the test ride, no problems at speeds up to 65. Re-checked everything and went on a poker run Saturday. IMHO, where the beads earn my respect is at speeds above 65 mph. The beads are MUCH smoother at high speed than conventional wheel weights. I'll never put that ugly lead on my rims again.
