How to get bearings back in newly chromed hubs

Okay, I just got my wheels chromed and need advice on how to get the bearings back in the hubs. They were already tight as heck when I took them out but now that the hubs are chromed I don't want to damage the chrome trying to put them back. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Put the hubs out in the noon day sun or somewhere they can heat up slowly. Put the bearings in the freezer and get them as cold as possible. Get you a piece of threaded rod and some nuts and flat washers of size just slightly under the size of the outer race of the bearings. Get everything ready, get bearings out of the freezer and install using the threaded rod and flat washers to pull the bearings into place. Important to only put force on the outer race of the bearings so not to damaged the rolling elements of the bearings. Hopefully the chroming did not screw up the interferance fit of the bearings.
