Which is exactly why I gave my opinion! I don't like highway bars on any bike, much less a dogyour correct, but apparently our opinion mattered to him because he asked for it and said DO NOT HOLD BACK!

I was thinking the air cleaner was in the way and having straight legs out will round your back grabbing the barsI have highway pegs on the Street Glide, set where my heels can be on the floor boards and toes on the pegs or I can stretch my legs out by putting my feet on the highway pegs. With the bars that you are trying to put on, it looks like your feet will be up in the air.
I'm bustin on ya, did ya buy it used with 27K on the odometer?View attachment 31719 the bars.for some reason I thought it was closers to 30000. Getting old
I like to keep my stuff new,

Thanks for taking the time to add the links. I saw/read about someone that used handlebars he had lying around and built himself a nice mount for his lights. Waaay cheaper. Shit is so expensive sometimes. Here's what I think of as Highway bars.

Damn Ray could have used one last week! Damn....bad Liferider bad Liferider.......that's more than highway bars -- that's an engine guard -- ie for people worried about dropping the bike.
Check out places like JP cycles where you can get highway pegs that you can add without the engine guards.
Put the driving lights up on the forks/triple tree
Why ruin the look of a bike like this with that stuff?
Just my 2 cents, but to each their own. If you like it then do it, just don't be surprised when we don't, and tell you when you ask!
check out the Kuruakyn constellation lights. they might be easily modified to work and they'd be pretty clean. Thanks for taking the time to add the links.
