Hiccuping

Check your spark plugs and ensure that they are burning evenly. Sounds like a bit of an intake leak. The S&S carbs have a tendancy for the mixture screw to move over the course of riding. dose it occur at steady speeds, accleration or deceleration?
Mine developed the problem at steady speeds above 70mph. If your accelerating or letting off the throttle its fine. Only at steady speeds above 70mph. Didn't do it before but has started now. Which screw do I adjust and which way do I turn it. Also....I turned the middle (big screw) to take the popping out of the exhaust when slowing down. That took the popping out and sounds better. I don't think the "hicuppng" started then but later. Have noticed that the weather seems to make a differnce also. The warmer it is the less likely it does it. I know this is a bit long and simple in description but trying to describe it the best I can.
