Hey all, my stock ignition module failed and I replaced it with the Hi4n ignition along with the 3 terminal singe fire coil pack. I'm not sure what on earth is wrong but here's all that happened. I hooked it up with the wires according to the diagram with the voes grounded and the positive wire from my main switch joining at the middle terminal. when I start the bike, it runs decent but when I unchoke it, it dies. worse than that when i hit the kill switch, instead of it dying, it like switches into a weird pulsating rev mode. Then if I press the run button again it switches back to running normal. Even shutting of the main switch did not kill the bike. I had to pull a spark plug wire. Worst of all as it was running decent i gave it a few revs and, on the 3rd, rev the entire bike died. Now when I flip the main switch no lights come on or anything bike is completely fried it seems. Please help me out here I'm so lost. Also, I'm in Michigan and can't find a single mechanic to work on the bike. No one here works on big dogs. The guys at bigdog.com said the closest certified shop is 11 hours away in Minnesota. If anyone knows of Michigan shops that will do work that would help as well. Sorry for the lengthy post!
