Check the battery voltage. Did you leave the lights on? Sounds like a battery problem after a fun night. Could the battery charger be malfunctioning? Just a few things to check since the indications are pointing to low battery voltage. Does the head light come on bright?

Check the ecu connections mine did the same think. Cleaned and reapplied dielectric grease no more problems.

Inside the electrical covers. Remove your seat should be on the inside right of the battery. Do a search of my posts the guys on helped me troubleshoot my k9.

does the horn beep when you try to start?
mine would do that before I went with the pdm.
usually when the bike was cold or batter weak for some reason.

Chazzz did you every find out what it was?

Hi I'm kind off new here, just bought a 2004 Chopper it ran good for only one day. Then the same thing the oil and neutral light just flash when you turn the key on? If you hit the starter even it pulses? At first you could just let it set and after 5 - 15 minutes it work ok again. Now that is all it does. What did you do to get it running again? Thanks

Don't forget to add dielectric grease to the connector pin area.

Disconnect the battery when you work on any electrical on these bikes.
