I purchased this Ridgeback with around 60 miles on it or so and I rode it about 6 miles and it was blowing/slinging trans fluid everywhere from the drive side, after replacing the seals, regluing the plug and sealing it all up again its still doing the same damn thing, its like this SOB isnt venting, I took the vent line off and its clear but with it hooked up to the trany you cant blow or suck any air into or out of the trans. Its also leaking on the top drive side tranny cover bolt valley , actually filling this up and running out. Any ideas? The plug on the drive side that is known to leak was and still is screwed all the way into to hole bottomed out on what looks to be another bolt Im starting to think I made a grave mistake here.

I would call Baker directly they have been very helpful to me in the past. and if the trans. needs work they are only $50.00 hour, when my main shaft broke they re built for $350.00 which I no was cheap, but it shouldn't have happened which they agreed and gave me a deal.

LOl, I promise your not going to hurt my feelings guys, but I appreciate the help. Its not over filled, 20oz...

Heres the deal, Scott at Baker told me their is a valley machined into the front of the trans cover that shouldnt have been their, a small bead of silocone around it should solve the problem. "HOWEVER" this is where the oil was coming from but the "MAIN" problem was when they chromed the cover they installed a rubber v-shaped plug on the inside of the vent hole and it was never removed,,, meaning the trans had no vent... I just got it back together and it should be good to go....
