HELP! - My PC cannot stablish a link

Does anyone have any suggestions on why my TH Software (ASM-5012) cannot establish a link with the IM ?

I´ve done it by the book, and on diferent ways.... bike on - bike off, IM on - Bike off, etc etc.

It keeps telling me "ERROR- IM not found" :bang:

I think so. everything did hook up nicely!

I just need to change the Tachometer setting... its reading half of the RPMs at the moment.

what I had to do was uninstall thunder heart and the driver that should have came wit your cable, then plug it ALL in and turn the bike on then install it all

I haven't had a chance to try the cord yet outdoor

I wish you would have told me about hooking everything up first, turning on bike and then loading everything as that is probably the solution. With all my years experience with computers and hardware I should have thought of that but I think I've reached my overworked level. Of course if you have to do that every time with new modules it doesn't help me but it will certainly make it easier for others.

I got my laptop back from repairs (had to get a new Hard Drive)... tomorrow I will try and let you know.

Did you install the driver for the cable. Also, I believe you have to have the key on and press the run switch.

Well, I ve tried "everything" installed all drivers, uninstall the sofyware and re install it with the bike running etc.....
"The Computer says NO!":bang::bang::bang:

Tomorrow I will try with my old laptop (windows 7) again. So far I have been trying it with Windows 8. :angry:

I didn't need it to be running just make sure that the ign mod red light is on, ohh and have windows 7
