Hello Mr. Sachs. I wouldn't feel too sorry for Harley, although any of the dealerships around here, hardly have any new bikes on the floor... Maybe, just a hand full of new ones, vs more used bike. One dealership even had a couple of crotch rockets, trade in???

How much should a a set of 117 heads go for just stock and anyone have any leads where I can find some for a core? not much on ebay anymore

It seems that the parts manufacturers are supplying the wholesale warehouse distributors. It's EXTREMELY hard to get some parts.

I have to give a "shout out" to Curtiss at Wild Steed Works for his tireless commitment in trying to improve/fix the TP Rocker Boxes vs. S&S head compatibility. His hours of trying/engineering ideas look like they have paid off. He should soon have a gasket and shim kit that should solve that on going problem. THANK YOU, Curtiss.
FWIW, I will be using his kits on/or with any heads that I do, that fit in that category.

TP to S&S Conversion . Have you...

600 and up cams really start needing extra mods to make them useful. If all you want is that little bit that is missing from the stock 117 then the 585 is all you need to do. I have a 107, and I am still not sure what cam I have in it.. ha but it seams to pull good up top!
