I have to give a "shout out" to Curtiss at Wild Steed Works for his tireless commitment in trying to improve/fix the TP Rocker Boxes vs. S&S head compatibility. His hours of trying/engineering ideas look like they have paid off. He should soon have a gasket and shim kit that should solve that on going problem. THANK YOU, Curtiss.
FWIW, I will be using his kits on/or with any heads that I do, that fit in that category.;)

I had 2 sets of these "Big Bruiser" S&S heads come in a few weeks ago. Started working on 1 set during this week. All I have left to do on them, is to mill, and assemble.
Set on the left is your S&S 117" - 124" Heads, for comparison. On the right are the "Mac-Daddy of S&S street heads for the 143" engines. I needed to make a plate, for S&S B-2 and( B-3 143") heads to secure them on my mill.

Working on some Big Dog 117" parts that came in for a build, 2 weeks ago. "G" carb, bored, and T-Jet installed. Cylinder base cut .040", Heads ported, with oversized intake and exhaust valves, .600" lift valve springs, and viton seals, milled for the combo using a S&S .600" cam. And,:old2:, Wild Steed Works, TP rocker box adaptors for TP boxes to S&S heads. They should solve the compatibility problems, that are killing the valve guides. (Pics of the adaptors hanging on my machinist chest). Also, replacing the Spike pointed A/cleaner with a S&S hi-flow a/cleaner .
