What a guyHey Armad--I dented the rim of the headlight housing on my 2008 K-9 and wound up replacing the whole light. Blacktopper and I got it apart w/o damage to the trim ring---I'll ship it to you freebies if you pm your addy. This trim ring keeps the light in place and is threaded inside the headlight housing. I looked at your photos and the lights look the same to me.

:iagree: Amen! Well put!All of us have an interest in keeping our bikes and our forum brother members, and ladies, in mind with our help, parts and advice. This is what a group of riders with a common interest are fortunate enough to share in common. The motorcycles which we have chosen are of such quality it seperates discerning taste from others' acceptance of the ordinary offering from the "Motor Company". I just can't see my self on a "street glide" or a "softail classic". The fire just isn't there.
The help which has been offered shows that the "members" are willing to help without any coaxing. In my eyes it is a fine thing to see nowadays. IMHO
