I have a 2008 Mutt,
Does anyone know who the manufacturer is of the headlight? Need a new trim ring. Seems these are easily screwed up. I messed up the chrome getting it off.

Hey Armad--I dented the rim of the headlight housing on my 2008 K-9 and wound up replacing the whole light. Blacktopper and I got it apart w/o damage to the trim ring---I'll ship it to you freebies if you pm your addy. This trim ring keeps the light in place and is threaded inside the headlight housing. I looked at your photos and the lights look the same to me.

light

Just spent 30 min in my garage looking for the light and fear it may have been thrown out in a garage cleaning:bang::bang:, so the kind words are a bit too quick, as apparently was my offer--I'll look again tomorrow with better lighting, but until there is news about that, it's best to assume armad still needs that trim ring.....
sincere apologies for the stutter step-:job:

All of us have an interest in keeping our bikes and our forum brother members, and ladies, in mind with our help, parts and advice. This is what a group of riders with a common interest are fortunate enough to share in common. The motorcycles which we have chosen are of such quality it seperates discerning taste from others' acceptance of the ordinary offering from the "Motor Company". I just can't see my self on a "street glide" or a "softail classic". The fire just isn't there.
The help which has been offered shows that the "members" are willing to help without any coaxing. In my eyes it is a fine thing to see nowadays. IMHO
