Looking into doing the zero deck cylinders, cam, igniton, etc. Just curious as to what should someone expect to pay to upsize the valves, replace valve guides, and cc the heads? I plan on changing the TP boxes to the S&S boxes. Its an 05 and the valve train is real noisy, and I'm sure it has the same valve sideload that everyone else is having.

I sent my heads out to WFOLARRY (Larry's Motorcycle & Machine, Inc in Oak Lawn, IL at wfolarry@aol.com) to be worked on. The heads now have the 2.00 intake and 1.605 exhaust valves, ported, milled .030, Squish Groves, CC’d, flow tested, new valve guides, Bob Woods W188-1200-10L valve springs ($280). I use the Woods W6HF 650 lift cam ($350. The machine shop cost was $659.00.

The Rocker Boxes you will have to get as a kit, a good source would be Nelson at sales@wbcycles.com. You will need

BDM 100-00083 BG PBG Rocker Box Set, DC
BDM 100-00081 BG PBG Roller Rocker Arm
BDM 100-00080 BG PBG Shaft, Rocker Arm
BDM 100-00414 BG PBG Gasket Front Tappet
BDM 100-00416 BG PBG Gasket Rear Tappet
103-000067-00 BG PBG Kit Gasket Top End

All of this goodies ( S&S Rocker Boxes kit ) come out to about $1100.

You might be able to get somne on E-Bay, but will they fit right.

Hope that helps
