It is pretty strange. I wonder if anyone has ever figured out the source of the draw...
Thats my thoughts too! Ive had sportbikes with clocks and the bike could sit 3 months and fire right up. If i knew what to disconnect on the ehc I do it.I don't understand how or why the EHC would be drawing if the bike is off. There's nothing for it do be doing if the bike is off.
Exactly!!!!!Seriously, $25k bikes shouldn't have such things going on with them.
Good Choice Carlos .... I have almost 2 years on my Tomioka had it in my Pitbull with no Comp-releases and now have one in my K9 .... never used a battery tender...Cranks like the day I bought it...I went through a big Boar, 2 Braill and I now have a race car light wight car Battery that will kick ass. Are those batts safe for the stock harness and EHC?
these bikes dont require a tender, they just need to be ridden enough to keep the battery charged.anything with a battery will give you problems if it just sits aroundId rather they made these bikes so you didnt have to put a tender on them all the time. I think its crazy that they draw this power from the bike. Never had another bike do this to me and Ive owned over 30 bikes
Yup ... ran that battery on both bikes with EHCGood Choice Carlos .... I have almost 2 years on my Tomioka had it in my Pitbull with no Comp-releases and now have one in my K9 .... never used a battery tender...Cranks like the day I bought it...[/QUOTE

Gel batteries require a special charger .... dont use a conventional charger it will kill the battery .... Gel battery chargers have a 12 volt max output.I have a TrueGel coming and if that fails me I will surely the Tomioka a shot. Thanks for the heads up.
