I was just wondering what could be the reason why the battery in my K-9 keeps dying so quickly. I bought my K-9 new last August and the battery worked fine for about 2 months. As soon as we have one cold night, the next day the battery would try and turn the bike over maybe once or twice and then its dead and then just clicks when you try to start the bike again. I replaced the battery with the exact same DECA battery from a local battery shop. This battery was brand new and fully charged. I'm continuing to have the same issues whenever its cold over night like around 45 F. I have to either charge the battery or jump it with cables from my car literally every time. Either this brand of battery is garbage in cold weather or I've just had 2 bad batteries. For example, on Saturday I was riding and it was about 60 out. The bike sat on Sunday and today its 85 out and I got about 2 tries to start the bike and then the battery dies. Any suggestions on maybe a better heavy duty battery ? I also made a post over the weekend called "K-9 owner losing a little faith in bike" where I was having a unrelated set of problems that have not been resolved yet. Many people on here offered good advice but I still have not solved that particular problem. I'm just very frustrated at his point. It's 85 and sunny out here in NY which is totally unheard of for where I live at this time of year. EVERYONE with a any kind of a bike is out riding but me.
