HAS ANYONE BYPASSED the EHC

I was thinking if byoassing the ehc to fix my light issue that way it is much cheaper to fix. Has anyone done this?

If it is indeed your EHC, it's only a matter of time before you'll have another issue. It would be best to fix it right.

Are you sure it's your EHC and not a problem between it and the bucket?
The original connector in the BDM headlight on some models was problematic.
Have you checked all the under the gas tank?

Open the headlight bucket and start there first then work your way back.

If it ends up it is the EHC, I would agree with AWG and saw replace it before it nails you again.

I've had 2 08 K-9's and both EHC failed the same way (didn't like cold; ie below 50F)

Everything works accept blinkers and brakes. I just replaced the ehc. Only thing i can think of that could have caused the issue is the ground wire eye broke on on our ride and was messing with it to fix the ground. They is exoensive to fix a hundred times lol

Replacing the ehc did fix the issue. Im going too check connections again and we will see lol

Do both rear and front brakes fail to light brakes? If only front break and signals I'd be more inclined to look into the handle bar wiring/PCB's

Yes. They don't work period with either brake

Hi Devil Dog,

The carling sensor on the right side is often the problem. You should get it from Curtis / Wild Steed Worx or from Mouser.com As alternative you can implement a sensor from Meder, what is much cheaper and do the same job (just switching...)

I am new to this. Where on the rigght side. I bought a new ehc and it fixed the dame issue i have now but if a sensor is causeing to gonout thatbwould be cheaper

Perfect, when the issue is solved now then it was the old EHC and not the sensor.
