Ok set it up with other chock and bulldog still bottoms out on the lift before I can pull it up even with air ride pumped up completely... maybe use a couple 2x4's and try again tomorrow?..

I have to place a piece of three quarter inch plywood under the steel ramp to get my prosport on without bottoming out. Make it as wide as the ramp and about two feet long. The bike will ride up on the plywood then onto the ramp. Easy fix.

Get some good motorcycle tie down straps to secure you're pike to the lift.

Also replace the skinny little bar they use as a safety bar with a larger one. My holes are big enough to accept a one inch diameter bar. Also this should go with out saying don't try to move the lift with the bike on and raised up. Ain't nothing good going to happen.

When I unloaded my lift, I also bought 1 of there 4 wheel dollies for $15.00 and then just slid the crate off on to the dollie and rolled it right into the garage.

Pretty much what I did to. I used a furniture mover. Like a flat 4 wheel cart. Had help pulling it out of the truck though. Rolled it into the garage. I put it together Sunday. I am going to buy the other chock HF has and others have used. My only complaint is I checked the hydraulic oil like they suggested. The plug they have was a pair in the ass to pull out and even worse to put back in. Has anyone else had a problem with this rubber plug? Also it was not full of oil. So now I have to buy hydraulic oil. I have my first bike on already to work on.

Don't overfill the hydraulic reservoir.

When I look into the little hole I see nothing. The directions make it sound like you should see the oil up to the top.

Then it was probably shipped without oil. What does the instructions call for as far as a quantity?

Ya better get some tie-downs on that thing. If it was to fall over, somebody could get a nasty bruise !!

It says, and I quote "The oil level should be even with the bottom of the filler plug hole. You should be able to see the oil. If the oil level is low, add SAE Hydraulic Jack fluid only. Avoid mixing different brands of oils." I have heard that sometimes these are shipped empty or not enough oil in them.
