Wow...I hope he faired better than the bike?I've never seen this thread before but my Ex-boyfriend was in a wreck because this happend to his Ridgeback's handlebars. His bike was totaled.
It knocks the wind out of me just thinking back. Yes, he was blessed. Lots of road rash but the worse was a badly broken wrist. He did go over the bars and travel down the highway on his face for a while.Wow...I hope he faired better than the bike?

I had that problem last year, too......ended up with a new frameHope the same guy/gal that welded the bars didn't weld our frames.![]()
