Poly caused more mirror vibration
Thank you  There are several of us on this board who serve and have served. Just proud to be a part of a winning team.
Poly bushings can add a bit more vibrations plus every bike is going to respond different. My old bushings where shot, so replacing them needed to be done anyways. Lets face it these bikes are not smooth anyways but putting the poly bushings in just made it feel tighter for me. Vibrates yes, but not like the rubber ones did.
The Dealer replaced my rubber bushings with poly under warranty.
I immediately noticed more mirror vibration and got hand fatigue due to vibration. After my stock mirrors rusted out, I replaced with shorter smaller Arlen Ness mirrors -- the shorter stem eliminated the mirror vibration and better quality "black" tinted mirror glass improved overall look and vision.
The poly vibration now is not so bad that I would go back to rubber...
You guys know my riding style, usually short haul, less than 200 miles/day so not that much time for hand fatigue.
