BD did hear about the caps swelling, I live hear in Wichita and made several trips to BD complaining about the caps, started about 4 years ago.
After talking with Will (now at C.A. Jones) I found that the paint savers were installed with J B Weld into standard tanks probably purchased through Drag Specialties.
Anyway Three weeks ago when trying to get gas the threads seized so tight that when it came loose the paint saver came with it, so I cleaned out the Glue, which was fairly easy and now I just use the whole thing as a cap, no problem. Still have no idea where I got gas with ethenol.

That sucks! They offered replacements for a product of theirs that failed. Now they want to profit from it. I was about to praise them for customer service, but now I think they are A-holes. Stand up do the right thing LANDMARK offer a reasonable solution to your f-up! We all know the replacement threads cost very little to produce.
