front brake doesnt work the brake light

06 k9 front brake doenst operate the brake light...does it need a switch? if so does anyone know where i could find 1?

could be the switch (probably is), could be the wiring, could be a connector, could be the light itself...

Check the little creamic magnet item # 7 on the parts breakdown above. May be broken or you may need to adjust out a little. Be very careful they break easily.

Got the opposite problem:

once the brake light is on it won't turn off. The only way to turn it off is to put a screw driver in between the mangnet and the switch or to mount off the handles and pull the front lever away from the bar .

Anybody an idea what all this is about???

Cannot find anything about adjustment in the manual :down:.
