Louisiana does seem to have rougher roads than usual.I looked at my 2008 Ridgeback frame and found no visible cracks. It has taken some big hits by the roads in Louisiana. Ridgebacks don't have the same weld area in the swing arm area like a K9. It is all tubing back to the rear wheel. A big 330 back tire does provide some flex although minimal! We shall see over time. Riding a Ridgeback will automatically cause you to avoid really rough stuff to protect yourself.
Mine is black too. Stress!!!!My frame is black. Going to have to do some serious inspecting.
I have gone over my Ridgeback carefully also and no cracks visible. As hard as I have hit some potholes I worry a lot. But so far so good. I feel for you guys as a cracked frame is a pain in the ass to repair correctly.I looked at my 2008 Ridgeback frame and found no visible cracks. It has taken some big hits by the roads in Louisiana. that looks like its on the swing arm,, I have seen a few that when the rear tire axle nut is loosened that the frame sprung out 1/8 to 1/4 inch,, to cure we added in spacers to take up the fit and eliminate stress ... that may be the cause of some of these issues..

Mine it's black too. See the second post in this thread. If in the sun or with a flashlight in your shop, you'll be able to see a crack. Mine was a hairline and only about the top 1/3rd off the tube was cracked. Still clearly visable.Mine is black too. Stress!!!!
