Hey guys I broke 10,000 on my 08 Mastiff (stock front end) and am looking to service my front forks. Seals are definitely leaking. I've looked over the how to thread (even constructed my makeshift pvc tool to bang in the new seals) and have my service manual ready to go. Now my question is what kit do I need. Is it your standard 41 mm kit that harley sells which includes the upper bushings, dust cap spacer, dust cap seal, and retaining clip, or is there more I need to do. I plan on disasembling the whole thing. Is there any other seal I need to replace (i.e. damper tube seal). Also planning on using 20w oil also. I see all these kits on the J&P website and elsewhere. Just need guidance with the proper kit to make sure I change everything. The trees will be coming off and while I am at it going to change the neck bearings also. Anyone have a bearing of choice or part number. Before I call around for these parts I would like to hear what bigdogbikers have to say. Thanks in advance.
