Exhaust studs

Anyone know how to get the exhaust studs out of the motor? Mine look they could break soon. Looking for a easy way don't want to pri on them worried about breaking.

I would double nut them, then use a wrench to back them out.

Buy some GOOD penetrating oil and soak them several times and let it sit to work best.

I use Kroil, a penetrating oil. Made by Kano Laboratories. It is kind of pain in the ass to find locally. It's the shit!

It's called rust

Soak it in Kroil. Works for me in these situations.

Try nut blaster. It works. most hardware stores should have it.Hope this helps.

Adam - I wasn't trying to be funny with my earlier post. Just because its got a bit of rust on it doesn't mean its no good. It shouldn't really be that hard to get out. I would double nut it as suggested above, clean it up with a die, anti sieze it and put it back in. Should be ok. I've done this a couple times with mine. Also, when you put them back in don't overtighten them. Nice and snug should be OK.
