Thank you Doug.

Yep everything is going as best as I can!

It's been even better since I've stopped answering the phone if I don't know the number cause I'm tired of talking to people chasing medical bills! Haha

Absolutely, I can only hope I can help at least one person in my lifetime. I will never be able to see out of my right eye again that I will continue to live with and for the rest of my life but there isn't any shit that shouldn't stop people from being the best they can be!

I need to start looking into joining a motorcycle awareness group. I have a keen eye now from watching idiots texting and driving and on their phones and it's getting out of control. The other day on my street we have a bicycle lane and while nobody was in that lane thankfully some asshat in his Tacoma was taking a selfie or on facetime and was driving halfway into the bicycle lane! I laid on my horn and gave him the finger of appreciation!

You need to find a platform were you can tell your story. You are an inspiration, not only to the motorcycle community but as the ultimate come back kid. It would be great if you can share how you over came adversity and the power to believe in yourself no matter what the doctors might tell you.

I thought this was Eric's platform! He has been telling his story to his Big Dog Family (us) and if he feels like that's enough, I'm with him.

Although, if he's up to it, he could give us an inspirational speech at our gathering but he doesn't have to.

Eric can do whatever makes him happy and go his own way. That's my thought and I'm sticking to it (unless convinced otherwise).

I took Shannon's comment as a joke. Haha! Cause y'all don't need me to say anything! Got a great bunch of strong guys here!

One thing I want to say however is I've had the pleasure to talk to a few forum members that were in various accidents before and had some serious issues to deal with themselves and continue to deal with to this day! Although none of them were actually motorcycle related and rather vehicle related they were kind enough to share their experiences which did give me some much needed support and knowledge. It also brought some clarity to a few things.

I think Razorbacks comment was more general and I have actually been asked by a colleague at work if I could meet his girlfriends parents who were in a motorcycle accident a few years ago and apparently still in a funk. I think their daughter just is hoping someone who can share a similar experience can provide them some hope. I haven't met them yet, but I did say I would be happy to meet them but Im not sure I can really offer much.

Also, that does remind me too that my mom was in contact when I was in ICU sleeping for 20 days with another mother whose son was in a motorcycle accident as well but unfortunately didn't fair as well. I think it just gave her the opportunity to share experiences which obviously can be important for people.

So as I was saying If I can help at least one person I'll be content. More even better! Thats also why I was mentioning the the motorcycle awareness organization.

It was, But like you said, you need to share your story every time an occasion presents itself. I share my story alot, and if it helps one person, it was worth telling.

I just got one of them notifications about rediscover this day however long ago, and this one in particular was a year ago, so as we close off this year and head into another, I would like to take the time to give thanks to the man above for some of the miracles and blessings we all take for granted. The beginning of December last year I was talking with nurses and doctors and they were pretty much informing me it was time to say goodbye... how wrong they were!! This guy is back and doing well!! Cheers to another year and many more two legged miles!!!
