If anyone looks at the date on this thread, it's LONG before I dove in with HDM. I love this headlight and actually it survived the wreck on my k9 and the headlight bucket broke off and was hanging by the wires and the light still worked! It's in my current k9, so I think it's pretty damn durable.
I Have bought one for every bike I ride and never had an issue. I won't ride without this headlight, I don't ride at night but it happens and I need this light to see. I actually had to convert my truck to LED because my night vision went to shit. HDM wont sell this headlight because we can't compete with Amazon prices and HDM won't sell you something you can easily source at a cheaper cost.
When I see everyone's bikes at events I still look at the headlight. Damn near everyone has one!
Headlight is advertised on our website with a link to just buy it straight from Amazon, same with the Deka batteries. I know Lowes is selling the Deka cheaper if you pick it up and the battery shortage has impacted prices.
