Think Carlos had one but may have swapped it back if I recall not sure reasoning.A few on here have been running them. One member who I haven't seen on here for a while was having an issue with his. He had to keep tweeking with it to get it right. Sounded more of a hassel than what it was worth, I think he ended up selling his scoot. Hence, why I don't think he's been on. I thought that Ray might have one on his choppa. Ray, you running the EFM?
Yea just read through the thread he is in here too..although I'm nearly certain Carlos went back to stock, not sure about Tapio.Didn't Tapio try one ??
I had one.Yeah RCAdd1ct was who I was thinking of. He had his off several times for maintenance.
Having to adjust your clutch every 1,000 miles? Thanks guy's, yes i have read and re read this thread with no real clear outcome or opinion.
I will be running in my stock primary so the dust issue should not be to much of an issue other than the frequency of oil changes may shorten.
The other big thing for me is the issue of mileage, Bruce you say you have 15K miles without issue, i have a tendency to twist the throttle and gallop along at a fare clip for long periods of time, also i do some serious miles in a day in high temps what are your thoughts?
Just so I we have an understanding, i am NOT and invalid i am just over adjusting my clutch every 1000 miles again, worked great for 12 months now i am having issues again. And i am also scared of breaking a clutch cable 200 miles from bum fuck nowhere (i usually do carry my spare) without a pub (see bar) within walking distance.
I had to put two thicker steels in mine otherwise my stack was 1.96" and I could never get the adjustment to hold. Thanks Eric, done all that, make little to no diff, i am pulling the rod out this afternoon when i get home from work.
Then set it all back up as to how Captain told me 2 years ago. As for stack height if i pull that bloody primary of again i'll be leaving it off.
Other than the electrics (now sorted with WP) the clutch is the only problem i have had. Hence the questions re the Auto clutch.
Tapio had issues...but with a Baker Open Primary. Pretty sure he ditched the EFM.Yea just read through the thread he is in here too..although I'm nearly certain Carlos went back to stock, not sure about Tapio.
They had trouble with the EFM balls sticking and maintenance on cleaning them.

Have you tried flushing your primary with non-synthetic ATF and then fill it with non-synthetic ATF?At a point where i am ready to try anything.
If i am riding in a pack with my mates and i crack the throttle to pass some cars, you can feel the clutch slip then grab with a shudder.
Very disconcerting when i have 20 other blokes doing the same thing & i slow for a second.
I am quicker of the mark than all of them (can't beat cube's) but i am getting some grief off a few, calling me "slow" .
Hi Curtis, no bud i haven't tried that.Have you tried flushing your primary with non-synthetic ATF and then fill it with non-synthetic ATF?
ATF type F fluid if you can get it over there is ideal. Stateside it's cheap and easy to find $5 a qt or less.Hi Curtis, no bud i haven't tried that.
Back in the dark ages of Pan's, Shovels and my ol iron head sporty i would flush with diesel, start the bike with the diesel still in the primary and ride it (slowly) around the block, not sure i want to do that to the Dog, so your idea sounds good.
Pulled the rod out and measured it re greased the tip, today i will flush as you recommend and readjust as per advise.
