PM sent, thank you.
The measurement of the hub required is the overall including the 4 tubes to replace the ones i machined off as you can't buy a inner hub from Curtis. If i knew you had a pre-machined hub i would have gladly paid you for it.
But i can use your measurement to check mine, thank you.

I wasn't thinking about it either until today I remembered I have this hub lying around!
You can get the original innerhub from Baker though! That's where I bought mine

I knew I had some old pictures somewhere!

They are not great for exact measures, but best I can do for now

Perfect, exactly what i need.

I measured my stack height exactly 50mm.
Height of my inner hub is 50.36mm.

WTF i measured all this prior to assembly.
Q. does this mean i have destroyed 1.5mm of clutch pack?
Q. Or does it mean everything settled once the oil was compressed out of the stack?

Whatever it means is that i measured incorrectly to get the height of the hub. My bad.
However this is not a bad thing as i now have to add plates and the extra height of the hub will be a good thing.
Tapio did you get my PM?

I just sent you a message, reply to it. I'll figure what steels and maybe friction you need tomorrow. I just arrived home and it's 2.30 am... I better not start thinking this tired

The great thing is now we can get somewhere! You found the problem. I think pack has now settled... We can fix that easily, maybe one more friction and a little play with steels! Either one really thick steel or one friction and one thin steel... Brilliant!

For some reason Tapatalk didn't want to send a picture as message. So here you are! Few steels and 2 frictions just for the hell of it should be there in 3 to 8 days. Had two more plates, but postage would have been over 100$, so figured this makes more sense.
Sent you 3 different thickness of steels total of 4 or 5 and 2 fibers. You should be good with that combo.

Thanks Tapio,
Sounds perfect.
Looks like we have 2 threads running. I just found this one.........again.......wtf?

It will read like war and peace, possibly going for longest thread on one subject, wonder if we get a prize.
I am sure we have put everyone to sleep, turned them off an auto clutch or both.

Well shes away and running, thanks to Tapio and some information from EFM that should have been sent with the kit.
So to summarize.
1. Clutch works
2. Took 6 weeks.
3. No instructions sent with clutch.
4. No Shim plates sent with Clutch.
5. Response from supplier were one liners and in broken English.
6. Would i recommend this product/company...............only if you have totally lost all you fingers on your left hand!
It will take some gettin used to, but i will give it a go.
A big thank you to Tapio, for not only keeping me grounded, but he was informative and knowledgeable, he also sent me plates and discs from his private collection. Come by some time, the beer is always cold.

Well you shouldn't eat up anymore clutch cables! One cable should last a lifetime.

It's a bit un-nerving not using the clutch, but you have engine braking and if your going steady with gear changes if feels ok, however on harder acceleration going from 1st to 2nd you have to judge your rev's or you will be stuck in 1st till the motor slows.
For some reason i am gripping the bars a lot harder...........wtf?
Time will tell i guess.

I read through this, and what concerns me most, is that the manufacture doesn't seem to have a clue about the application. Now whether they have a clue about other applications or not, who knows. I would venture to say, "not". The return email is very concerning and I wouldn't go near this company if you paid me to.

Anywhere between 2500 and 4000 it is hard to change from 1st to 2nd only.
If i change between 1500 and 2000 it is easy and slips in.
3 day ride commencing in and hour, 650 mile round trip, air temp 41 deg C IN THE SHADE.
Guess we will be stopping alot to replace fluids.
Have organised the wife to have the cell handy in case i need the trailer.

He built them for Harley's.

He's adapted them for some. Let's face it bid dog primaries are not that numerous compared to HD's
