Easiest clutch lever pull

I can't handle the lever pull of the clutch in heavy traffic. Last weekend in all the fayettville traffic did me in.

Without going hydraulic which will give the best reduced lever pull. Bandit or upgrading to a easy pull ramp and plate kit from Big Dog or Baker?

I have a BDM Easy Pull clutch system. It pulls half as hard than stock. The kit mades changes to the clutch pack, reducing the plate count from 13 to 9 and replaced the ball ramp system. I think the kit cost around $400.00 plus installation cost. The clutch performance seems to be equivilent to the stock 13 plate system but I ride normal. 10k miles thus far.

If you grease your ball and ramp, lube your cable and lever, maybe eat some Wheaties, you should be good to go.

Noticeable difference with Easy Pull. Order the ramp kit directly from Baker-and the clutch pack directly from Energy One. I believe the total cost will be less than $200 if you do it yourself like I did.

I don't have a problem with stock or the Bandit; but my wife's Coyote with the new ball ramp design sure does pull easier, bout half as easy I'd say.

I installed the newer version ball and ramp....easy pull....and its considerably alot easier to pull, course I didnt add the new clutch packs and if I get on it it slips.....but all in all its alot easier on the left hand

Get the Bandit clutch, I put in the BDM easy pull kit in and it only lasted about a year, and was slipping in every gear. Couldn't even give more then a quarter throttle, and it would slip. Put the Bandit in about 6 months ago, haven't had one problem since. Shifts in to gear like butter, goes right into neutral at a stop, before I had to give it gas. Plus I think the pull is easyer then the BDM easy pull.

X2 however mine don't slip, I'd say its about 25 percent easier.

If you put the Bandit Clutch in there are you supposed to go back to the stock ball and ramp or leave the ''easy pull'' ball and ramp in there?

Tennis ball is the answer. Get the cheap ones from Wally World, as they work just as good as the expensive ones. Get up in the morning, place it in your left hand and start your work out. Easy to travel with too. You will be surpirsed after about a month of practice.Oh yea, let us know when you bust the first one!:D

I am fresh at this. Do you know the part number or contact for a full kit with everything I will need?
Also how difficult is the install? I am in Italy and hopefully the local Harley shop can install but I like to know before what the process is so they can not try any bull!! Thanks in advance.

Go to banditmachineworks.com the clutch pack for Bigdogs is called the Brusier. Look up that, I didn't install it had a shop do it. Good luck trying to get a Harley dealership do it, the ones around my area won't even look at my bike, let alone touch it. I would just call Bandit and talk with them about what you will need.

Went to bandits. I will also call.
The amp sounds interesting too but I have not found any big dog info on it. Will it fit? Most info I found was for Harley.
