We had a little delay on getting my bike back. :bang:
As Frank was dyno'ing the bike he said he had a hard time getting it into 1st, 2nd, and third gear so he went ahead and pulled apart the trans and they figured since there was a service bulletin out for the countershaft washer replacement they figured that could be the problem. But after he pulled the trany apart he saw that the countershaft walked and got stripped. So they are seeing if Big Dog will cover this since this service bulletin has been out for quite a while for the washer being replaced. So I'm hoping they will cover it or else it will cost me over $1000 to get it done. :bang: So that's where I stand now! Waiting for a phone call!

Here is a picture of the housing and you can see where the arrow is pointing is where it stripped.

These trannies have a hard enough time staying together with stock power. That's one of the many reasons my bike is stock except for a .600 cam and extended filter. I just don't think these bike were engineered for this much extra power. I'd rather ride than wrench. I get plenty of wrench time on my race car. :loony:

well was warming up my bike tonight for the ride home. lets not forget i dont have a kickstand. a couple of blocks of firewood was holding it up since i got there. go inside to gear up and dont you know the bike goes over. mirror stem broke, headlight dented and glass broke, but light still worked, left rear blinker cover busted. guys all worried and concerned waiting for my response....

i was happy i still had a headlight!
