I noticed that I have a notch in the ribs of my belt and a wear mark on the top of the belt on the far rt. edge of the belt, when looking at it from the rear. I even had a pile of melted rubber on the lower swing arm area under the front belt cover/ clutch area. The belt seems to be rubbing on something under the cover, it is riding all the way over on the rt. side of the pulley. what the? When you look into the cover you can see these nubs molded on the inside of the cover, I am wondering if the belt should be centered on the front gear or what.:spank:

I would pull the cover off and make sure that everything is tight in there. Might just be something got up in there and is wearing on the belt but could also be a loose nut on the shaft like I had that caused the belt to rub on the inside of the cover.
Open it up and have a look see!!!

Thanks I will look into it or take it back to Full House Cycle and let Scott handle it, since it is under warranty. I am scheduled to go to East Coast Sturgis on 8/08 and deffinetly need my bike in good shape. Thanks for the advise.
