DRILLED OUT FOOT PEGS

OK, so I got bored waiting to take the bike in for the trans repair. so I thought, why not match up the control levers with the pipes to the pegs.
#1 drilled levers

#2 drilled pipes

mask and mark for holes. center punch first. use a small bit to drill starter hole.
then use the size bit for the finished hole.


then use a step bit starting from the back side first, this will increase the hole depending on how far you drill into the peg. then dill the front side.

if you look inside the finished holes you will see the rings cut by the step bit. it really looks great in person. my next thing will be to use the step bit on my levers to get the same ring effect.

it is a very delicate job, requiring about one month per hole, please ship the entire bike and i should be able to return it some time next year. :D

Chirs, the holes in the levers don't really bother you. i ride with no gloves in the summer and with them during the winter. i been wondering how many holes i could put in the arms. now i see i can add a few more.
