Unsprung

In the Potters hand...
I had the bike since May 2015, and I've dropped about $2k into it. No pretty stuff, that's tires, EHC, etc., trying to keep it running. I've got a sporty that I put $3k into first year I had it and nothing but gas and oil since in the six years I've owned it. The dog is a gold digger but to be fair it was neglected by the previous owner, and it is more FUN to ride.

Gave $6k for mine the first week of October. I think I bought all the mods/upgrades and got the Dog free! :D:old2:
I've only spent a few bucks to do an oil change (badly needed) and will be changing the primary and trans fluids soon. Next Spring she'll need a new back tire. Currently working on an extension for the side plate mount to allow use of the saddlebags; probably a $30 project. :)
I've only ridden her about 500mi so far, and hope to have another 500 over Winter on the few nice weekend days we'll have.

$9250 for the bike and probably $2000 more since. LOTS of free labor (me). Still needs a rear tire, shocks, new fork seals (again), and I still dream of dropping it off at Namz for that $1200 old school rewire some day......

Had quite a bit of down time the first summer fixing previous owner neglect, but this summer it ran well - just had shitty weather.

well I got 2- 2003 pit bulls both excellent condition got about 15,000 in the both of them ,aint had any major problem both bikes already had the ehc upgrades so all has been good so far.but I do not regret the purchace or any maintaince cost been well worth every penny. honestly said the cheapest smiles I have ever had ,57 years old and if I only added up all the money I have spent making others smile ,women ,kids ,family I would probably be shocked .so no matter what my big dogs ever cost me I will smile and I will own my dogs till my last day here on this earth.
