Bought mine new in '02. Have changed the engine oil and filter 13 times. Trans fluid 3 times. Plugs, more than a few. Tires, can't remember how many. One each, headlight bulb, hand grips, mirrors, and voltage regulator. Plenty of rubber thingys on the foot pegs.
Don't ride much in the rain here in SoCal, never hose the dirt off with water, and learned long ago how to keep from frapping electronics, so no electrical problems.
Almost forgot - 4 batteries.

That's all folks!

well I got 2- 2003 pit bulls both excellent condition got about 15,000 in the both of them ,aint had any major problem both bikes already had the ehc upgrades so all has been good so far.but I do not regret the purchace or any maintaince cost been well worth every penny. honestly said the cheapest smiles I have ever had ,57 years old and if I only added up all the money I have spent making others smile ,women ,kids ,family I would probably be shocked .so no matter what my big dogs ever cost me I will smile and I will own my dogs till my last day here on this earth.

Glad he's not the estimator for his company or is he:D
Yes I am Paul! I am assuming you know when estimating a job if you include every little cost and detail, you will never win any bids! So, the same goes for the bike! If I included every little detail of what I spent on this bike we'd all put them up for sale and say fuck it! Don't want to scare the shit out of ya Wankers! Lol!

Damn! I was replying to another thread and it just reminded me that I also bought new PC boards for my hand controls! There goes another $300.00! :whoop::whoop::whoop:

I go to bed early, but look at the bright side John, some of us on here purchased new, so we have to add 15-20K to our list first, however, I still stick to my original claim, "Its the cheapest thing I own"
I'm still trying to put a price on the smile:oldsmile: and feeling I have every time my V-twin fires off:boing:
