The ignition modules for the 02 through 04, duel fire are very hard to find now. Two things you can do. You can get with Thunderheart and get a single fire set up for an Indian. It will come as a kit, coil and everything. Or you can go with the Ultima unit, that will fit in your nose cone. Both will work just fine.
Ok thanks have it at a Indian dealership shop now.

That's like the Ultima, it can be programed either way. Indian used one that looks just like the duel fire one that is in there. And uses a similar cam sensor.
What I don't know, and maybe someone can answer this. On our 05 and up Dogs, that is a single fire ignition module, that runs off a crank sensor. Can that module be used with a cam sensor?

05 module can't be used with Cam sensor even if you changed the coils.

Inquiring minds what to know, why?
Crank position sensor actually gives a signal off RPM.

Crank Position Sensors (CKP)
• This sensor provides input signals that indicate engine rpm.
Flywheels have 32 teeth with 2 missing teeth. These missing teeth give the
reference for engine timing.

Camshaft Position Sensor (CMP)
• This sensor provides input signals to indicate what stroke the engine is in. The
sensor is located inside the cam cover. The rotor is driven off of the camshaft (on an Evolution
engine) or the rear camshaft sprocket (on a Twin Cam engine).

The Cam Sensor is a Hall-effect device mounted on the Cam Sensor Plate. It is used in conjunction with a rotor 'cup' mounted to the end of the camshaft. As the cup rotates, it passes through the Cam Sensor. Slots in the cup walls are 'timed' to the engine, allowing the cam sensor to indicate to the ICM the position of the cam shaft, and therefore, the position of the crankshaft. This information is used to time the firing of the spark plugs.
Bottom line it's just the software that is required to work is different to read the different signals.

For a while Harley used both in sequence however a Cam sensor failure would still keep the bike running off crank it was only there for enhanced EFI controls

Thank you for clearing that up for everybody.
Now that I'm thinking about it, other than thunderheart ignition we have, I'm not sure there's any aftermarket that don't have the module and software just all built into the sensor on the nose cone. Like the twin tech, ultima, and the you pick.

Which is beneficial for us since that can sensor is cheaper than having to but new.

Also the 05+ big you'd have to get a new Cam cover cause they don't even have a hole for a Cam sensor.
