I found this under the bike the other day. I'm not sure that it is off the bike. I looked and couldn't find a spot for it but still would like to know if it is the bikes or not. Thanks for the help.

from the looks of the head you have had a wrench on it a time or two...its from your license plate bracket...

I thought you were right for a minute. I looked and it is simular to those no doubt. This one is a size or two bigger than those.

Time for a new one I'll tell you that. Be glad its off because it won't go on tight with rounded allen like that:cheers:

Looks like a derby cover bolt. Right side boottom of the motor. One of mine fell out. Good luck.

If is is a size bigger than the license plate trim ring bolts, then it is the bolt that holds the plate to the mount.

If you turned your plate vertical a while ago, then that is it. There are four bolts holding it on from the factory and when you rotate it up vertical, only three hold it on. That is your extra left over screw!!!

Have you found what it is yet? If not, if you can get me thread pitch and size, plus length. I can search big dogs parts online to tell you what it could be. Just pm me.
