Do I understand this correctly?

If you turn the key on, press the "Run" button, press the "Start" button and the bike turns over or the compression releases pull in then the PCB board is functioning correctly.
If the above passes but when you press the "Run" button you do not get the Red LED at the Ignition module then you need to check the ignition module power harness red lead where it enters the ignition module for 12 volts. If it has 12 volts then check the black wire for ground. If it has ground and voltage then the ignition module has been damaged. If the ignition module has been damaged and you are still running the stock charging system you should think hard about replacing it with CompUFire or Cycle Electric before it has a chance to damage anything else.

Well here is what I got.....I turn the key on ....press the run, no red light comes on. Press start the bike turns over fine but still no red light. Which in turn no sparky. It has the RIP installed. Date on the stickers 2005. I did take the one connector apart when it say ignition module....used a test light to check for power. Nothing.

Ah, you have a RIP kit.
Understanding that the RIP's Thunderheart module does not behave the same way the OEM BD EHC does in that the position of the "Run" switch does not cause the start button to become active or inactive have you tried pressing the "Run" button a couple of times to see if the ignition module's LED lights or not?

Check the ground pin on the Ignition module power connector (the little white JST connector). It might be burnt if you had a power surge. Or you might have a loose connection.

Well since I tried all the suggestions and still couldn't get the module to power up, I decided to work on the tag light. When I received the bike the tag light was turned sideways and the wires were disconnected. Or should I say ripped. So I reconnected the light. So I figured I would try it again. Well guess what I now have power to the module! So now everything works.....high low beam......left turn signal! Only thing I can figure the tag light being disconnected didn't complete the ground? I don't know. Now I have to see if it will start. Taking a break from it for now. Will let you know if it runs now or if there are more issues.
